What Is Conclave?
Conclave is a section-wide event where we invite all our members to join us in training and fellowship. Learn more about check in, activities, elections and more to be fully prepared to start your Alaskaclave adventure!
Structure
Arrival
Participants will arrive at camp throughout the afternoon on Friday. This is when participants will receive their orientation packages - filled with patches and information - and be able to set up their sleeping quarters as well as participate in fellowship activities awaiting the opening show.
Opening Show
What way is there to open a scouting weekend besides a high-energy opening show? Flashy lights, hilarious skits, and unforgettable audience participation will teach you all about the great state of Alaska to kick off your Conclave weekend!
All Day Activities 🔗
Located at base camp, there's endless activities to explore and participate in over the weekend! From fellowships to tournaments, there's no better way to spend your time than with your fellow arrowmen, competing in games other activities that put normal scouting events to shame!
Section Officer Elections / Adult Auction
Love the current section leadership? This event is for you! Hate the current section leadership? This event is *also* for you! You have the opportunity to vote in - or with the right credentials, participate in - Section Officer Elections! If you're an adult, there's an extensive auction running at the same time! Compete against others to get the best price on valuable mementoes and pieces of Lodge and Section history!
Beach Party
Opening with a banging cracker-barrel that could compete with a Banquet, pumping music to bring the hype up, and rave lights; now introducing the BEACH PARTY! Similar to last year's rave, the beach party will be filled to the brim with good food, friends, and music - be 'shore' to be there!
Closing
End the weekend with an awards ceremony and the passing of the Spirit award - passed down from year to year to reward the Lodge with the most amount of spirit. More importantly, end the weekend with final thoughts from the old and incoming Section officers, giving you something to ponder on your long journey home.
Departure
Once camp is cleaned and it's time to leave, the Host Lodge will offer rides back to the Fairbanks Airport to ensure you make your flight on time and in style. Hop in the party bus one more time to complete the final leg of your journey!
